The authors respond to Robinson and colleagues’ proposal for editorial change in primary educational research journals (requiring authors to restrict discussion and conclusions narrowly to the data reported and to eliminate recommendations for practice from primary studies). In their response, Vaughn and Fuchs consider the proposal through the lens of intervention research.
