Ninth-grade students from Pflugerville and Hendrickson high schools who are participating in MCPER’s Preventing School Dropout With Secondary Students: Project GOAL recently visited Austin Community College’s Eastview and Riverside campuses and Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts. At each of the campuses, students met with admissions and financial aid personnel, exposing the students to a variety of postsecondary programs available upon completion of high school. Campus personnel urged the students to begin preparation for their postsecondary education in the ninth grade.
