Teachers participate in the EXPERT program across the school year to provide resources that support development of expertise in data-based decision-making.

The EXPERT program includes four core features:

  • Ongoing data collection to provide relevant student progress data
  • Use of the web-based EXPERT Monitoring Tool to enter data, generate progress graphs, and guide decision-making
  • Individualized coach to facilitate knowledge and skills
  • Embedded collaboration to connect and align efforts

We are partnering with third-, fourth-, and fifth-grade teachers who provide reading intervention. Each teacher will nominate three students for whom they want to focus on improving data-based instruction.

$250 compensation for participating teachers working with three target students upon completion of study activities.
