On May 20, The Meadows Center for Preventing Educational Risk (MCPER) welcomed Eric Meadows, the new president and CEO of the Meadows Foundation, to learn more about the center’s ongoing work and impact.
The Meadows Foundation provided the initial philanthropic support that helped establish MCPER and has remained a longstanding partner in advancing educational outcomes for students across Texas and beyond.
The visit also included Meadows Foundation Senior Program Officer Lizette Villarreal-Montes. Representing MCPER were Executive Director Sharon Vaughn, Senior Associate Director Greg Roberts, Chief Operating Officer Jennifer Schnakenberg, Associate Director Sarah Powell, and Communications Director Christy Murray.
During the visit, the group discussed MCPER’s portfolio of work, including research initiatives, technical assistance efforts, and evaluation projects to improve outcomes for students and educators.
MCPER appreciates the opportunity to share its work and looks forward to continued collaboration with the Meadows Foundation in support of meaningful educational impact.
