MCPER researchers publish article detailing their reading program for juvenile correctional ins

MCPER Project Coordinator Jacob Williams, former Institute Director Jade Wexler, Associate Director Greg Roberts, and their colleague Clint Carpenter published “Intensive Reading Instruction in Juvenile Correctional Settings,” an article in the most recent issue of the journal Exceptionality. The article details the Texas Juvenile Justice Tiered Instructional Model, an evidence-based reading program model created specifically for juvenile correctional institutions.
