Description
The article discusses the use of intensive instruction for students with learning disabilities in U.S. special education. Topics discussed include the use of the response to intervention educational method, which was designed to improve the academic performance of students with learning disabilities and give educators a way to identify disability; the use of data-based individualization in special education; and instances in which students with learning disabilities are returned to general education classrooms.
