Dr. Mark O’Reilly, director of MCPER’s Autism Spectrum Disorders Institute, delivered the keynote address to the Psychological Society of Ireland convention in April. The conference was held at Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland. O’Reilly’s address focused on the nature of challenging behavior with children with autism spectrum disorders. He also outlined the results of some of his recent studies that focused on antecedent interventions to reduce the intensity of challenging behavior with these children.
