Greg Roberts, associate director of MCPER, has been invited to join the technical review panel for Phase II of the Early Childhood Longitudinal Study, Kindergarten Class of 2010–2011 (ECLS-K: 2011), funded by the Institute of Education Sciences. The ECLS-K: 2011 is a study of child development, early learning, and school progress that pulls together information from multiple sources to provide rich data about the population of children in kindergarten in the 2010–2011 school year as they progress through school. Dr. Roberts will review and provide guidance on the survey instruments and procedures for the first- and second-grade data collections.
