Latinas Leading Tomorrow (LLT) student group (lead by two Project GOAL students) and their mentors from Sigma Lambda Beta Fraternity and Sigma Lambda Gamma Sorority at The University of Texas are sponsoring a Cinco De Mayo dance at Decker Middle School. In addition to their weekly mentoring, the fraternity and sorority members are assisting the LLT group and students from Project GOAL to promote, organize, and host the school dance and a canned-food drive. All proceeds will support the LLT and all canned food items will be donated to Manor Independent School District’s students and family support services to help local families in need.
