Soyeon Kang, a doctoral student in special education and research assistant with MCPER’s Autism Spectrum Disorders Institute, is the 2011 recipient of a doctoral dissertation grant from the Society for the Advancement of Behavior Analysis. Her dissertation focuses on developing methodologies to accurately assess preferences for children with autism spectrum disorders. She will receive the award at the organization’s May conference in Denver, CO.
