Dr. Ann Levine, a fellow in MCPER’s Autism Spectrum Disorders Institute, has been appointed clinical director of a new multidisciplinary assessment project for children with autism spectrum disorders (ASDs) at the Texas Child Study Center. Project SHARE, a collaboration between The University of Texas at Austin Education Psychology Program and Dell Children’s Medical Center, will offer assessments, conduct research, and lead training for graduate and postdoctoral students in the Educational Psychology and Special Education divisions. Mark O’Reilly, director of the ASD Institute, will also work on the new project, administering applied behavioral analysis assessments for young children with ASDs and challenging behavior.
