Two visiting scholars will present their research at MCPER Brown Bag events in October. Beverly Weiser will present “Examining the Synergistic Relationship of Encoding and Decoding Instruction and its Effect on First-Graders Struggling With Reading” on October 20, and Brandy Maynard will present “The Absence of Presence: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis of Indicated Interventions to Increase Student Attendance” on October 26.
