The National Institutes of Health has extended funding for the Texas Center for Learning Disabilities (TCLD), a cooperative effort of MCPER, the University of Houston, and The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. TCLD is a multidisciplinary research center that focuses on definition and measurement issues, interventions addressing reading comprehension, and the neurobiological correlates of learning disabilities.
