Members of the College and Career Readiness Initiative: English/Language Arts Faculty Collaborative partnered with Schreiner University in Kerrville, Texas, to present “Effective and Meaningful Instruction for the 21st Century” on October 14. The event – for elementary and secondary school teachers and administrators in the Texas Hill Country region – emphasized professional development and instructional strategies related to issues such as student engagement and performance, literacy, and future teacher preparation.
